The
Carlisle Band members come from Carlisle and the surrounding
areas. The ensemble with members who range from teens
to senior citizens include: music educators, teachers,
business people, doctors, nurses, engineers, college
students and high school students, etc.
The Carlisle
Band is
a 501-C3 non-profit organization and contributions
to the band are tax deductible. The band has two recordings
available on cassette or CD. Also a book about the
Carlisle Band "An Ornament to the Community" by Susan
Eyster Meehan has recently been published about the
History of the Carlisle Band.
The members of the Carlisle
